Steve Woz: Apple Missed from Other Smartphone

Judge Steve Wozniak founded Apple with Steve Jobs' is quite behind in the smartphone competition. This allowed competitors like Samsung was able to catch up.

This statement came from the mouth of Woz, the familiar greeting, in an interview with a German-language media, while Wiwo.de event Business Week Best Brand Awards.

"I am proud to have Apple fans are so loyal. But loyalty is not given, the need to have the best product is always there," said Woz as MacRumor said, Friday (08/02/2013).

"Today Apple, in my opinion, is somewhat behind in terms of features in the smartphone business. Others are pursuing. Samsung is a great competitor. Because they are now making a good product," he explained.

This comment however came out in context that reflects pride will Apple and its products. However, as is known, Woz is not an Apple product fanatic.

In contrast to his late friend Steve Jobs, Woz tend to be neutral. Almost all gadgets from various platforms try. And he will comment honestly if the product is awesome.

On this occasion, Woz also explain why he was willing to line up in front of the App Store when the product was first sold new. And as the founder of Apple, he certainly had the privilege to get the product easily without having to queue.

"The launch of the latest Apple product to me like a big concert that must be attended in person. This is history. Course, I could easily order online or contact the store manager. But it will not be memorable. I want to have an experience like regular shoppers. But one thing is certain, if Apple makes bad products, I would not exist in the queue, "said Woz.
